Celebrity MasterChef: Dipika Kakkar dismisses criticism in bold statement; says 'Jo karna...'

Television star Dipika Kakkar has finally made a much-anticipated comeback after a career hiatus with Celebrity MasterChef. Her comeback has left her fans - who have been eager to see her back on screen - impressed. The show's first promo went viral on social media and led to massive excitement among her admirers. While many have been happy with her comeback, some netizens trolled the actress.

In the first promo video of Celebrity MasterChef, Dipika was praised for her dish which was also loved by the chefs. Happy with the appreciation that she received, Dipika couldn't contain her emotions and burst into tears. Reason? She recalled how women are often told that cooking is not a big deal. Dipika's video spread like wildfire and a particular section of the audience called her out. They said that there was no need to cry after judges praised her for her culinary skills.

During a recent interview with India Forums, Dipika spoke her heart out about being trolled for the promo. She said, 'Koi nayi baat nahi hai'. She further added saying, 'Usme bhi koi nayi baat nahi hai. I don't want to say anything to them. Jo karna hai karo, mujhe koi farak nahi padta'. Dipika also said that her husband Shoaib Ibrahim encouraged her to take up Celebrity MasterChefs as he knew about her passion for cooking.

Shoaib too had shared a clip from the show, wherein she donned the apron, Dipika was quite excited about cooking. He dropped heart-eyed emoticons and was quite happy watching his wife rule the screens again. We must say, he is her biggest cheerleader. Shoaib and Dipika met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka in 2011. The two got married in 2018 and are parents to son Ruhaan.

Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Archana Gautam, Rajiv Adatia, Usha Nadkarni, Faisal Shaikh, aka Mr. Faisu, Nikki Tamboli and Chandan Prabhakar and others too are participating in Celebrity Master Chefs this year. The show is judged by Chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and Farah Khan.
